Intergrated in the lid is a beer and CO2 post for carbonating and dispensing the beer. These posts are smart integral parts of the lid: one for adding gas (CO2) and the other for dispensing the liquid (beer).

If you want to control the temperature during the fermentation the Conicus Pro can be mounted with this optional lid with a build-in cooling coil. This is a very simple, but effective way of controlling the temperature inside the fermenter.
